Meaning & History
Nickname with meaning particular to the bearer, but often used for someone with a name beginning with the letter 'T'. Bearers include blues singer and guitarist Aaron Thibeaux "T-Bone" Walker (1910–1975), for whom the name was derived from his middle name because of its close pronunciation of Tee-bow. Another bearer is Tom 1 "T-Bone" Wolk (1951-2010), bassist for the musical duo Hall and Oates.
