Meaning & History
Derived either from Arabic سحيم (suhaim) meaning "black, dark" (a diminutive of سحم (sahima) meaning "to become black, to be blackened") or سهيم (suhaim) meaning "arrows" (the plural of سهم (sahm) meaning "arrow, dart"). It is solely used as a masculine name in Malaysia while it is sometimes feminine in Indonesia.
