Ray

My middle name, wish it was spelled "Rae" considering I am a girl. Nice name though.

My name :3 I have to say Ray and the different variants like Rae and Rei are in my opinion one of the best names. My impression of this name is short and elegant. It's easy to use and remember. In my opinion this name is unisex. That is why I chose this name for myself.

I've always considered this name masculine, not feminine, so leave Ray for boys and use Rae for girls.

I find it Unisex, as I have met people male, female, non-binary, etc. named Ray. It isn't very common, but it's not unheard of, either.

I actually do not think this sounds masculine. I know Rae is for girls but Ray looks more feminine.

I like Ray by itself but only as a middle name. Just ‘Ray’ as a first name sounds a bit odd to me, but it’s a very nice middle name, especially for summer like names! August Ray?...idk. But also you have some options— Ray, Rae, Raye, etc.

This is the name I go by and I love it to death. However, I do kinda see this name as one for a 40-year-old trucker who's probably racist rather than a gay teenager. Oh well!

Ray is the name of my best friend. When I want to get serious I use Raymond. His nickname when he was younger was Ernie (don't ask). But I love him dearly. “Ray” is the name that I gave to a character of mine. Well, I shortened “Raymond” to get that name. But anyway, I've found it to be a nice, cute and calm name.

As a nickname for Raymond or something like that, it's great. But as a name on its own, it's rather short and dull.

My brother and father are both named Ray. I really like this name better than Raymond. It's short and reminds me of both the sun and the sun god Ra. I don't know any other Ray's personally, so; I think the name is unique as a first name. When I think of Ray I think of sunshine and power.
