This is the name I chose when I legally changed my name. Admittedly I do pronounce it "pazz" (coz of thick Aussie accent). I love how it means peace, the connection to Mother Mary and, for me, it feels more like a unisex name (am aware it's normally a fem. name):)
I love this name. It's short, sweet, memorable and pretty. And I like the meaning, too. It's nice that Paz has Hebrew origins as well. Though I'm not sure about using it as a first name (as it would take a long time to convince the people where I live to pronounce it the Spanish way), it would make a perfect middle name for me.
