I hate it, ew, no way! DESPISE! I MUCH prefer Maurice, as Maurice ages well, is more fit for any boy, and is just... much better. I would NOT recommend using this for any person!
While surnames are becoming so popular as first names, also considered gender neutral, Morris/Morrison is probably an exception. Morris/Morrison will probably be the only surnames that no one will ever consider for a girl, but that’s what makes us yoounique, considering both my first and middle name are mainly masculine and I’m a girl. I probably have the most masculine and butchy last name as opposed to Rose. I’m sure Morris would be 1# for most unusual girl name! My last name is Morrison.

Morris "Morrie" Schwartz was a sociology professor and the subject of the book Tuesdays with Morrie.
I named my cat Morris because he looks a lot like the 9 Lives Cat Food spokeskitty. Oddly enough, he eats Purina Cat Food! I really love this name, on a person or a cat. It's very handsome and down to earth.
