As my name is Mariana I was curious to learn more about it.
I was surprised to read it is popular in the Czech Republic because I lived there for a few years and this is definitely not a Czech name.

I am Bulgarian and my name is popular in Bulgaria. According to your information only "Maria, Mariya" (this is just one name but as we use Cyrillic with Latin the letters vary from Maria to Mariya) exist.
Please note that in Bulgaria exist: Mariana, Mariyana(feminine) and Marian, Mariyan (masculine).
