I think this is a great name for a cat.

I like this name. Strong and handsome. I don't know why Lionel Messi puts some people off the name- I think it's great, a good and fairly uncommon name gets a lot of recognition. I hope this name becomes popular!

Handsome. Not a fan of the English pronunciation but I love the French pronunciation.

I personally prefer to pronounce it as "LIE-nəl" instead of "lee-o-NEL". But this name is very nice and smooth.

I always think of the Lionel electric train sets.
