The supreme goddess in Sanamahism, the traditional religion of the Meitei religion. Leimarel Sidabi, also known as Ima Leimaren, meaning "Mother Leimarel", is seen as the goddess of the earth, nature and household and mother of every living thing. Her name is derived from the Meitei leimarel meaning "queen, goddess" and sidabi means "undying, immortal", from the Meitei si meaning "die", the negative particle da and feminine element bi.
