I love the name Justin, but it's: 1. Too saturated and prevalent 2. Many associations So i think maybe DUSTIN could be a better less common variation. Because being overused is a red flag for me.
Justin Brooks Atkinson (1894-1984), who went by simply Brooks Atkinson, was the drama critic for The New York Times from 1925 to 1942 and again from 1947 to 1960. In 1960, a Broadway theatre was named after him: the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. (That theatre is now the Lena Horne Theatre.)

I named my son Justin in 1969 because it means “justice.” I had never met anyone with this name before. Many years later, I learned that my godfather’s birth name was Justin (Justino in Spanish) but he went by a different first name most of his life.
If you are named Justin you are automatically a cutie, I don’t make the rules. I have always liked this name for a teenage boy, it’s masculine, trendy, and just overall swag. I like the vibes. I will name my son Justin.

Justin is the name of a guy I had a crush on in high school. A major, serious crush. He was sweet and friendly and funny. So I like the name. I personally don't think of Bieber at all, or Timberlake. It isn't so trashy to me.

This name sounds nice, but I don't like the Justin Bieber association.
I do like this name because I have met a good number of people with this name who are nice. However, some people associate this name with Justin Bieber now. Everyone I know named Justin was born before he became famous. In an earlier comment, that person said the same thing. Justin Bieber actually became famous in 2008. I actually am that same person even though I made that comment anonymous. I'm leaving this one anonymous too.
I've never really liked my name. As a kid I wanted to change it. But based on the meaning of the name, "Full of Justice" I think it suits me. It's just not a name I care much for.
This is my name. And I was born before Justin Bieber soiled the name for a lot of people. It was very trendy in the early 2000s. Weirdly, I never met another Justin until around 2 years ago. I’m fine with my name, sorta wish it was more exotic.

Even with his injury, Baldoni was offered a place on the Long Beach State track team his freshman year at California State University. However, he was not able to fully rehabilitate his hamstring in time, and Baldoni left Long Beach for Los Angeles. While moving into a new apartment building, Baldoni met a manager who advised him to pursue a career in acting.

I do not like this name. It sounds trashy and stupid. It's also become way too popular, and being born in the 2000s, there's been about 5 Justins per class. Justin is basically two words put together "just in".

I think I like the French pronunciation better. The English one makes the name sound really unpleasant, plus there's the associations with Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake - and I can't stand either of them.
Everyone I know named Justin was born before Justin Bieber became famous. I can see why their parents would have wanted to name them Justin, because it's an awesome name. Justin Bieber became famous in 2007, so be prepared to meet someone named Justin who was born before then, because there are a lot.

Whenever I think of this name, I always picture a middle class white kid who may try to act black.
I happen to love the the name because it's my name. What makes it even better... Im a girl! I've yet to meet another female Justin. Yes I get the daily comments but I wouldn't change it for anything. You only get one chance to make a first impression... I never get forgotten!
This is my fiance's name and I love it. I have generally always liked most Justin's I have met and I ended up falling madly in love with a Justin. I think it's strong, youthful, and rugged.
I don't like Justin Bieber either, but I really wasn't a fan of this name even before he came along. It's a decent name with a nice meaning, but it sounds so youthful. I have a hard time picturing a 40-year-old man named Justin.
Looks like people dislike this name because they are jealous of Justin Bieber. Justin is a lovely boys name. I didn't pay much attention to it when I was little until now. And plus, Justin Bieber is a good person to look up to if you start to realise it.
Justin Pierre James Trudeau, MP (born December 25, 1971) is a Canadian politician. He has represented the Montreal electoral division of Papineau in the Canadian House of Commons since 2008 as a member of the Liberal Party and currently serves as the party's critic for youth, post-secondary education, and amateur sport. Sir Justin is also the name of the DC Comics hero Shining Knight. He was a knight from the old days of Camelot that got transported into our time. He's not that well known, however, the most exposure he's gotten was in the "Seven Soldiers of Victory" story lines and in the Justice League Unlimited episodes "Task Force X" and "Patriot Act", which were some of the best episodes in the show. I like the name Justin, not simply because of the character, but because of its meaning- "Just." In my opinion, it is a strong name with an honest tradition, even if some of the pop culture bearers don't live up to the name.
Justin is an okay name. I'm just not a big Justin Beiber fan (not that I hate him, because I don't). So the name has gotten to where it reminds me of him. Still, I like it okay, though personally I prefer Dustin or Austin.
It was also the name of US composer and horse breeder Justin Morgan (1747-1798). He is best known as the owner of the stallion Figure, whom would later bear his name and go on to become the founding sire of the Morgan Horse breed.

I've always loved the name Justin. I WON'T let that JB kid ruin this name for me.
This is one of my favorite boy names, I like the fact that it's both elegant yet casual, it's also practical because it's easy to remember, spell and pronounce. It's popular but not extremely common. When I hear this name I think of a handsome, educated guy who has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Guys names Justin are usually popular and unique.
Even though this name is common; I like it a lot. I might even name my future boy this. I think of a guy who is handsome, easy-going, hilarious, random, sensitive and sexy. Not to mention I know a guy named this and he was every one of those! This is a really cool name.

Oh! How could I forget Justin from Nymh? That kinda gives me an even more heroic sense of the name now when I think about it. I loved those movies! :D Not a famous bearer, necessarily, but the oldest brother in Wizards of Waverly Place's name is Justin. LOL.
Justin is that kind of name that gives me a mental image of a doe-eyed boy who is very talkative and sweet and makes friends easily. I personally think it's a good name with a strong meaning.
He might be over 60 now, but in the 1970s Moody Blues singer Justin Hayward was a handsom blond bombshell - lovely!

He is best known for his various roles as Buzz Cooper on 'Guiding Light' (since 1993), Tom Hughes on 'the World Turns' (1980 to 1984), Keith Timmons on 'Santa Barbara' (1986 to 1988), and Dr. Bucky Carter on 'Ryan's Hope' (1975 to 1978). My brother's name is Justin. I like it! It sounds good for a young boy (he's 8), but it sounds good for an older person. Maybe if I have a son his middle name will be Justin?
What about TV presenter Justin Lee Collins? Well-toned, tanned, smartly dressed, clean-cut, well-healed antipodian sportsmen like those above are all very nice, but give me a rugged, grungey caveman like JLC (please!) That's a real man, and gorgeous example of this fine man's name.

I found this website that lists Bible verses in association with each name. The actual denotation of each name is nowhere near as accurate as BTN, but I thought the verse thing was cool. Verse for Justin is Psalm 41:1. See result by searching for Justin at http://www.homesteaddesigns.com/name_meaning_search.htm or, for an easier translation of the Bible verse, search for Psalm 41 on http://www.biblegateway.com
Everyone I've met named Justin is a jerk, haven't met a Justin that didn't rub me the wrong way. I like the name too but, for this reason, I will not name my kid Justin.

Justin Case? Justin Time? How awful! That gave me a laugh but that's not fair to the kid. However, I love this name. It is the name of my best male friend. My favorite combo for this name is Justin Michael, which is named directly after this friend. My connotation with this name, from what I've seen of Justins in general, can be a tough guy who can possibly be mean, or a manly guy but sensitive. My friend Justin, though, is who changed the connotation of the name entirely.
I remember reading up on a Kabalarians entry for a deeper meaning, and it almost described my friend to a T - Easygoing, rather spontaneous and a great actor. I really like this name.
Justin Hayward from "The Moody Blues" bears this name.

Like one other person on here, I've met someone named Justin Case. I think that's a horrible thing to do to a kid. I also have a cousin named Justin and he's a very strong, independent, and nice person. I personally am not too fond of the name itself, but I like the meaning of it and I think it would be good name for a person to have.
I have always liked the name Justin. It is boyish, rugged and handsome. A great name for a boy to grow up with.
