This is one of the only names I can see on every age. Henry can be a grandpa, a middle aged man, a young adult, a teen, a kid, and a baby. It also gives me positive vibes. I absolutely love this name.
I like some old man names. However, I’m not a fan of Henry or the nickname Hank.

I don't dislike this name. I just feel like it lacks a certain depth and character. It's like a blank canvas waiting for someone to bring it to life, or a plain cup of tea that's missing its honey and lemon. I think it's okay, but it could use a little something extra to make it truly special. In my opinion, it needs to be paired with an interesting person or a unique middle name/last name combination to really shine.
I knew a Henry who was the most brilliant person I've ever known and was funny, kind, and charismatic and he was two years older than me, but overall, I think this name is so amazing, and it's old but modern and so interesting all at the same time. I will definitely name one of my children after him.

We have a little Henry and baby brother, Lawson. We absolutely love the classic timeless names with a fresh modern feel!

This name is cool for some kids and some people but not for some Henry's.

I also think that Henry is a sexy name (not trying to make anyone uncomfortable). No hate, but I’d totally date a dude named Henry. So, there’s another impression for you.
This name is really growing on me. I can't say it's one of my favorites, but I must admit, it definitely has a sweet timeless charm about it. It ages beautifully, as well.
One of my favorite male names that are handsome and timeless! When I think of the name Henry, I picture a little boy with straight hair in bowl or curtain cut.
I would probably like it more if it weren't so overused. It just seems boring to me. No offense to those named Henry or to those who like the name, though.
Despite all the evil associations I still love this name.

I really want to love the name Henry. It looks great when written down, it has a very rich history, so many literary connections and famous bearers, and it's arguably the best classic boys name ever. With that being said I unfortunately don't quite love this name, I simply like it. I think the only thing that keeps me from loving it is how it sounds when said out loud. However, if you love the name Henry I would highly recommend using it. You can't go wrong with such a classic name!
I love the name Henry. I disagree with anyone saying it's too common. I've never met or heard of anyone named Henry. It's a great name with great history and has great associations.
This name has an amazing meaning and great history. It was also borne by so many historical figures including kings, noblemen, military leaders and generals. I can only think of a very dignified and strong man or maybe even a hero when I hear this name. Definitely a name to be proud about.

I absolutely love the name Henry. It’s is the name of my 3rd child, 2nd son. He is named after my grandfather who was a strong and honorable man. I love that Henry is a name that works so well for a child but also for an adult. Happy we chose it!

Henry is a great name, one of the best names. It has an amazing meaning and great history. This name makes me think of a king or a really mighty person. This is also the name of many important historical figures and kings. A truly amazing and strong name, that's for sure!
The name sounds wimpy and old fashioned to me. I also despise the nicknames Hank and Harry. Neither one even makes sense as a nickname for Henry. (Harry is more appropriate as a shortened form of "Harold." And Hank is just a dumb redneck-sounding name.)

I really like the name Henry. It is strong and dignified. I didn't use it for my sons because of the horrible nickname Hank and the absolute worst name Harry.

Only Henry Cavill can pull off this name.

Henry is a nice enough name, it is just very popular. You could use Hendrick instead. I like Henry as a middle name, like Daniel Henry.

This is one of the most handsome, stylish and classic male names out there. I love Henry so much.
Henry is a nice name. It's one of the few boy names that are popular nowadays that I actually love (I also like Edward, Jack, George and Tom). It makes me think of smartness and engineering and feels very victorian. I also named one of my characters Henry.
I have a very big soft spot for this name, as it's the name of someone I love who passed on recently. While I agree that it's too common, I love the slight nerdy edge it has to it and how it sounds soft yet still masculine. I adore it.
When I named my son Henry it was 136 in popularity. I am dismayed to see it is now number 33. I wonder where all the Henry's are? I do not know any other young Henrys. Henry is a name that conveys strength, thoughtfulness, kindness, and intelligence.
For everyone saying Henry sounds like an "old man's name," I urge you all to realize that every old man was once a child, a baby even! So I'd say that Henry is a perfectly suitable name for a young boy. Case closed.
My 18 month old is named Henry and I love it! It's classic and strong, but sweet and friendly at the same time. Looks like its popularity is on the rise, though I have yet to meet another little boy named Henry. People compliment me on my son's name all the time, I think it's quite refreshing to hear when every other little boy these days is named something rhyming with Aden. I highly recommend this name to anyone considering it! :)
I'm beginning to really like the name Henry. It makes me think of Henry Throckmorton in the Theodosia series by R.L. LaFevers. (Henry is Theodosia's little brother.) It's a nice, classic name that would age well.

To me, it sounds like the name of a dog or teddy bear.
I'm not sure why I don't like this name, maybe because it's a bit stiff or maybe because I hate the nickname Hank. Its saving grace used to be that it was an underexposed classic but it got so popular that I cant find anything to like about it anymore.
I adore this name! It is definitely going to my son if I ever have one. I think it would be simply adorable on a little boy, but would also grow up with him nicely.
I like this name, and part of that liking is due to this being my grandfather's name. My impression of this name is a laid back, funny, intelligent kind of guy, and that description fits my grandpa perfectly. I would use it as a middle name.
I LOVE this name but I think it is too trendy to use right now. I can see how people perceive the name in different ways. On one hand it can be modern & preppy like a Pottery Barn catalog. On the other hand it can be old-fashioned and rural sounding, like Uncle Henry from the Wizard of Oz.
My last name is Henry. One of the most masculine names out there. I might consider this a middle name for a future son and no his last name wouldn't be Henry of course.
Some of you say that the name Henry reminds you of an old man? That got me thinking. Because the name Henry reminds me of someone I'm friends with who is truly amazing, I guess that a persons impression of a name could all be in who they know or don't know. Hmm.
I like the name, but a boy would possibly be mocked at school with this name, so I named my dog Henry. That's not to say I think it's only fit for a dog, I just don't like the idea of a child being made fun of because his name has the word "hen" in it.
I love the name Henry! I'm going to name my first son Henry. To me Henry is a great name to go through life with, i'ts cute as a child and masculine as an adult. Henry reeks of nobility, strength and intelligence. The name itself has been around for centuries and it's a shame everyone thinks it's too "old-fashioned" because of that. When all the kids today are named Shawn, Brad and Micheal, you'll regret you didn't pick Henry.
Henry is my father's name. He's never liked it. He says he got teased for it when he was a kid (apparently it was a weird name in NYC in the fifties), and it's for animals.
Henry is a lovely name. It's strong but very sweet. It's not very common where I live, and I only know a little 5 year old with it and a 7 year old. It suits both. If you want a strong, sweet, not common, great name, pick Henry!
This name reminds me of an old man and if there's a boy named Henry, he probably looks like an old man. LOL.

This is my most favorite boy's name. Personally, I find the name Henry to be a name of nobility and eloquence. I see a young man who is very wise and kind hearted.
Henry reminds me of an old man who is the head of the house, lol.
