The name Deracious was first used as Deracius, which was later changed for proper pronunciation as De- raa -ci - o-us or dəˈrāSHəs. A name derived from the surname Clifford or Clif -ford, which means to stand from a clift looking forward. This meaning gave new life to the word Veracious, which means one who stand or represent truth, an object, or a rock being detached from a larger substance of a rock which is most notable from a mountain.
