In the Star Wars universe, Damaya was a Dathomiri female who was one of the witches of the Singing Mountain Clan who fought against Gethzerion and her Nightsisters. Sometime after that conflict, she joined the New Jedi Order. After the Yuuzhan Vong War, Damaya, Kirana Ti, and Streen did a great deal of work on Dathomir.
