The pronunciation is wrong. Our letter C is pronounced somewhat differently from English "ch" as in "cheek". It's pronounced more like letter Z in "pizza", but perhaps not that soft or hard. Somewhat average; kinda hard to explain.By the way, I had a friend in elementary school with this name. Her full first name is Cintaku, though.

Non-Spanish-speakers in the US (or another country where Spanish is widely spoken or taught) might want to be aware that "Cinta" is also a very common Spanish word meaning "tape" -- typically adhesive tape, but also used in the phrase translating to "measuring tape" and occasionally "ribbon".

I think Cinta is a beautiful name though I think it is prone to mispronunciation as most people would see it as sin-tah rather then CHEEN-tah, meaning unless you live in Indonesia it's ifie whether or not you would actually name your kid this.
