Year 1
Zoe was invited to attend a conference in Wyoming about modern recycling solutions. Anthony accompanied her and covered the topics of the conference in his column, which received great reviews.
Year 2
Zoe and Anthony had their first child, a girl, Nik and Adele's first grandchild. Vivienne Mei has wavy black hair and hazel eyes.
Year 3
The Kendricks' second child, another girl, was born this year. Clara Xiu has straight black hair and brown eyes.
Year 4
Zoe decided to go back to school to get her Ph.D. in environmental science.
Year 5
The Kendricks adopted a cat, which they named Sherlock.
Year 6
Zoe found out that she was pregnant again, this time with twins! Phoebe Yin has straight black hair and brown eyes, and Emmeline Bao has wavy black hair and blue eyes.
Year 7
Anthony and Zoe bought a house with more room for their growing family. It's in the same town as their previous house, but closer to Anthony's parents.
Year 8
Zoe was surprised to become pregnant again, since she and Anthony had planned to wait a few more years to have another child. Their first son, Jasper Wen, has wavy black hair and hazel eyes.
Year 9
Anthony received a sizable inheritance from his grandfather. He and Zoe put most of the money into an account for college for the kids, but used a small amount to go on vacation that year.
Year 10
Since Nik and Adele adopted so many of their children, Zoe and Anthony also wanted to adopt. Li Rong is an four-year-old boy from China. Like Zoe and her siblings, he took an American name: Riley.
Year 11
Vivienne got two guppies for her birthday. She named them Peppy and Jazz.
Year 12
Another surprise pregnancy for Zoe! Alessia Huan has wavy black hair and hazel eyes.
Year 13
Anthony got a job with a well-read health and wellness magazine. He now writes articles about living a healthy lifestyle with a family.
Year 14
Anthony and Zoe took the kids to the Smokey Mountains for a week-long vacation. They enjoyed the hiking trails and other outdoor activities. They want to go back again when Alessia is older.
Year 15
The Kendrick family hosted an exchange student for a year. Anna Hausler, a 15-year-old German student, lived with them while she attended a year of American high school. The Kendricks plan to visit her in a few years in Germany.
