I am sorry to hear you ended up scared after what was supposed to be something nice. As you say you are not sure you will be over Ryan for awhile, which is very understandable. There are also things in life, which we never get over, but rather learn to live with.
I am not sure if Ryan leaving you is one such thing. That I hope not.
But perhaps you moved too fast going out with another man while Ryan is still on the loose in your heart, so to speak.
With a child to take care of and being pregnant and feeling sadness over your man, through more than five years, leaving you I understand very well that you at times need to get a little away from it all.
But perhaps you should spent such time away from it all together with people you already know, who do not want something from you all the time and who take a yes for a yes and a no for a no.
At least until your heart is in a more serene state.
