I adore Antonia and don't find it snobby at all. Then again, I've never known any so the name seems quite fresh in my mind. I don't associate it with anyone. I'm not wild about Toni or Ant (yuk!) although I do think Ana, Annie and Nia would make nice nns.
ETA that I pronounce it an-TO-nee-uh. I do like the emphasis on NEE, however, I'm pretty certain that would never fly where I live (VA) so I haven't given much thought to that pronunciation.
