I adore Antonia, which I pronounce "ann-TO-nee-ah." The name is sophisticated, polished, melodious, and very versatile. I definitely don't think it sounds posh or snobby!

As for nicknames, Ann, Annie, Nia, and Tia could work, but they all pale in comparison to the full form.
