I know a woman named Aleida. She lives in the U.S., came there from Cuba as a young girl.
She pronounces it Ah-LEE-dah.
It's a pretty name.
I have no real ideas as a middle name, am not good at that.

That pronunciation, ah-LEE-dah, seems to be pretty common. I like it as well.
