I like both pronunciations and wouldn't be broken-hearted if I ever used it and people mispronounced it as ah-LEE-dah.

The character was originated from the Netherlands (she had a strong Dutch background) and I wanted to give her an uncommon name that's also soft, beautiful and originates from her backround (:
