For your family to be more Spanish sounding, use two surnames per person. One is from the mother and the other from the father, and the other from the mother. The fathers is first and for the children, you choose the first last name. Women do not usually adopt their husbands surnames upon marriage, and if they do they will usually use their first last name and add de, then their husbands first last name.
