Britto's Fairytale Namebank Congrats
I'm back after a very busy and fun month, ready to resurrect my old standby after a long long break. This, of course, means it's time for another of my fairytale congrats. For those of you who have never played one, this is basically a royal congrats with a twist--your couple comes from a fairytale. You can pick and fairytale or folktale you like, any version, from any culture, using any language. Use any source--the Grimms, Perrault, the Arabian Nights, any old folktale or ballad from anywhere in the world. Since a lot of traditional stories have versions all over the world, pick your favorite; you can use any language you want for any fairytale--an Arabic Beauty and the Beast or a Hawaiian Cinderella is just fine. It just has to be a traditional story with a happy couple (or potential couple) at the end. If your story has the couple having children (like some versions of Sleeping Beauty) you'll pick up the story right after the couple marries and continue it in your game.Note: the fairytale The Little Mermaid cannot be used, as the little mermaid dies in the end of the actual story. Unless you want to focus on the prince and his wife, this is not a happily-ever-after fairytale. This will be done a little differently than my other fairytale congrats, as this one will have a namebank. Everyone must submit ten female and ten male names in the language they used for the couple's names to create a master namebank everyone will draw from for naming their children. Sometimes there may be additional rules, such as naming a child after someone or using a name from a different language, but the namebank will be the primary source of names.Extramarital lovers are allowed, and may be same-sex. Non-royal couples are also allowed (for example, you can do Red Riding Hood and the Woodsman). So, pick a story, name your couple, and away we go!Rules:
1. Miss three rounds and I'll have to drop you.
2. Each name must come from the namebank unless otherwise specified.
3. Each member of a royal family must have at least two middle names. Non-royals must have at least one.
4. Ages are required. I'll keep up with them.
5. This is a story-driven congrats. If you don't like writing stories for your couples, this may not be the game for you.
6. Have fun!Sign up:

There, she was delighted to meet the fairy prince, who instantly fell in love with her and asked her to marry him. After marrying, she adopted a more dignified name. Now called Maia, she rules alongside her husband Zephyr as the fairy queen. Fairies are known for their mischievous ways, so keeping her subjects in line is not always an easy task, but Maia's life is more magical than she ever thought it could be. The fairies adore her, especially the children. Maia loves to play with the fairy children, and she and King Zephyr are looking forward to the day when they have children of their own.

When Rosa took her father's place with the Beast, she had never expected to live past her first night. But her reckless courage and love for the father who had been her sole parent since she was only 10 meant she went anyway. Terrified but stubborn, she accepted the Beast's first invitation to dinner, determined not to let him see her afraid. She was shocked to find him such a kind and gentle companion, very attentive and even intelligent to talk to. Rosa slowly began to lose her fear and even began to enjoy being around him. Even after he became dear to her, she never dreamed how in love with him she would fall. When the curse on him was broken, she was more shocked to find out he was a prince than that he was human. She was glad to have all the servants visible once again, and happy that animals and people were again around the castle. And she couldn't deny that her prince's handsomeness--auburn hair, green eyes, gentle hands, and loving smile--delighted her. But the absolute best thing, to her at least, was finding out his name. She had allowed him to call her Rosa, her nickname, since they began to be friends, and sometimes he calledher Bella, Beauty, as he claimed that her thick dark hair, smooth olive skin, and large velvety brown eyes are the most beautiful anyone ever had. The two certainly made an extremely attractive couple on their wedding day, and the two cannot wait to start a family.
