Only one year after their marriage, the King and Queen welcomed their first child - a son. The entire country is joyous for it, and Don Jorge himself was very much relieved that a heir is secured so quickly. The son's christening was held in the Grand Cathedral, in an elaborate and widely-attended ceremony. The young prince full name was Walter Konstantin Diego Michael de Todos los Santos de Borbón. In an interview secured with the Queen, she had explained the reason behind the names of her first child. Walter was a name they had agreed upon, Konstantin after her own father, Prince Constantino, Diego after her husband's father, the late Don Diego, and Michael after the archangel.

- William is the oldest son of the late King Edward and his wife Queen Louise and has 5 younger siblings (Henry, Adelaide, Leopold, Caroline & Augusta). When he turned 23 his parents searched a fitting bride for him and came across Princess Charlotte from a neighboring kingdom. To secure peace and growing friendship between the two countries the parents decided to marry the two. William, who is a very independent young man, wasn't really pleased at first about getting married, but after meeting Charlotte for the first time the prospect of marrying this young, beautiful girl wasn't as bad anymore and he even started to fall in love with her over time. About a year later the two were married and moved in their own palace. All seemed well and the King & Queen were hoping for grandchildren soon, when King Edward suddenly fell ill and died soon after from a yet unknown desease. The whole kingdom was mourning and William at age 25 became King, he himself was not really prepared for this task since he thought that he still has many years until his father would pass away. At the same time his wife Charlotte, now Queen, found out that she was expecting the couples first child, both were very happy but at the same time were scared to take on two such important jobs: as leaders of an entire kingdom and as parents to a small child.
Recently their little girl was born and they named her Beatrice Catharine Maud Alexandra. Beatrice after an ancestor back from ancient times, who was the daughter of one of the first kings of the Brown family. Catharine after the second name of William's youngest sister Augusta, who is one of the godparents of the little princess, along with Princess Maud, older sister of Queen Charlotte, William's uncle Christian, ruler of another neighbouring country and William's favourite cousin Feodora-Alexandra, daughter of King Christian. Since the army of the kingdom has just fought a war against an enemy and won, Queen Mother Louise suggested to let all members of the army become additional godfathers to little Princess Beatrice, and idea that the royal couple gladly accepted.

Just four months after their marriage, the Grand Duke and Duchess found they were expecting a child, and four months after that, found out it was a boy. They decided to name him Nikolai for his Name Day, December 6th. Leon is a family name from the Braganza line, while Konstantin is Romanov. Magnus is after a Swedish childhood friend of Sergei who was in the military and was killed.
Nikolai, or Niko as he is sometimes called, has dark hair like both his parents. He is usually calm but when upset, gets really upset. He loves to look out windows to see whats going on.

A year has passed and the kingdom is rejoicing in the birth of the first royal babe. Unfortunately the babe is not a princess so it can not recieve the title of "crown" (Matrilineal Monarchy, baby!). But this is not a major disapointment as the queen is still young and the likelyhood of more children is good.

The entire kingdom is celebrating the arrival of the new princess! The royal succession is not strictly male, so she has been named Crown Princess. Adam and Rose are enchanted with their little Elisabeth, who is a sweet and giggly baby. She has Rose's nearly-black hair and bright blue eyes, but has some features of her father's as well. Everyone who meets Elisabeth falls in love with the plump, bubbly baby.
