You, Bea, are secretly in love with your best friend, James Miller. James goes away on a business confrence in Scotland and you decide to tell him you love him when he gets back. When James gets home, you go to see him and find out he has a surprise for you; he has fallen in love with a girl in Scotland named Emily Starr and they are getting married.
He has even asked you to be his Best Man!
Well for one thing I can't be his Best Man if I'm in love with him. :/
How do you feel about this? Terrible! All I said was "Oh, nice!" when I he told me.
How do you win over James heart and convince him not to marry Emily?
It was 10 days before the wedding and I finally decided to tell him to see if there was one last chance he would give up Emily and marry me instead. So, I went to see him. We talked for a while then the conversation got boring and he asked me "What was it you came over here for anyway?" Then I knew I had to tell him. So here's how I started out "Well, I just wanted to talk to you." I said. "No, it must be more than that." He said. "Your right." "I am?" "Yeah you are. I wanted to tell you something before you got married." "Oh? And what would that be?" And here's how I told him I loved him. "I just wanted to say. I love you" I said it in a whisper so he didn't hear me at first. "What?" "I said. I just wanted to say I love you!"
He looked shocked! He had been drinking iced tea at the time and he spit it out and said "WHAT?!?!" then he just stared at me with his mouth wide open, after a while he said "why didn't you tell me before?" "Well, I was going to after you got back from Scotland but...you told me about her ." then he surprised me with "I thought you didn't love me. You never said anything...you...you..." he sighed then said, "I love you too." after that we talked it over and he broke it off with Emily, much to her dismay, and we are now engaged.
