After not having much luck dating, my mother Anna decided to take actions into her own hands. She had always wanted me to marry "well off". She entered me in an online dating website, and set me up to meet a respectable man, Ryan Cooper. Ryan was the son of a successful lawyer, and was a lawyer himself. He was very nice, but definetely not my type.

I was not happy with my mom for trying to force me into love. It was definetely not her buisness! I decided no matter what she did, I would see who I wanted to.

While dating Ryan, I met William (an architect) through a mutual friend. He was funny, sweet, romantic, everything I could ask for. I introduced him to my mother, who was reluctant to approve. William had married once before when he was 18. He had a son, Gabriel James (Gabe) with his previous wife at age 20. His wife died in a car accident when Gabe was only two.

Eventually, Ryan and William found out about each other, and I was forced to make a choice. I chose to stay with William instead of Ryan. My mother was angry at first, then realized her actions were wrong and eventually accepted William.

Ryan was definetely mad. I didn't blame him, what I did was wrong, but I felt as though I didn't have a choice. He didn't know that it was really my mother that chose him. He was no longer in my life, and I hoped to never see him again.

I ajusted well to life with Gabe! He is a great kid and a sweetheart! I would love to have him as a son! I look foreward to someday becoming his mother!!
