Welcome Carlie, Aoife, Christian, Max and George!
Carlie Rose is a newborn girl from Vancouver, who was abandoned by her parents. She has auburn hair and blue eyes. She has no interests yet and is very small because she was born premature. She has no disabilities that have been observed so far.
Aoife Kathleen is thirteen and from Ireland. Her mother and stepfather had problems with alcoholism and drugs and could therefore no longer care for Aoife and her three half-siblings. The three half-siblings (two boys and a baby girl) have gone to stay with their father's mother. Aoife would like to remain in contact with them and with her mother if it is possible. She likes reading, old movies and music, and aspires to be a doctor. She was raised Catholic, but has decided to become non-religious.
Christian James is seven years old and from South Africa. He is energetic and loves colouring, painting and watching cartoons. His parents were killed by terrorists on a visit to the Middle East. Christian has mild Attention Deficit Disorder but is working on controlling his condition.
Max Vincent and George David are four-year-old twins from Toronto, Canada. They speak English and recently lost their parents in a road accident. They are very close and generally quite quiet, preferring to have just each other's company. They enjoy being outside, swimming and being read to.
Congratulations on your new family members!
