Two years have gone by. Avril and Edgar have married and have had their first child, a little girl named Alice. She and Edgar live in an apartment in Chicago. Amelie also married Chris, and they have twins, Jacqueline and Valerie. They still live nearby. Ashton and Samara had another baby, a boy named Nate. They're finishing college later this year.
Also, our poor Ruby got pregnant with Zack's baby, and when she told him, he told her there was no way it was his. (Alex said he'd kill him if he ever saw Zack again) She decided to keep the baby, and she ended up with a little girl that she named Samantha.
Our Christmas was quite busy this year. All of the kids and grandkids came to our house (it's the biggest). Tabitha and Gideon are the best of friends, and they enjoyed knocking over piles of presents. I'm sure they'd have knocked over more than that if we hadn't caught them.
Most of the time was spent fawning over all the new babies (Gideon, Nate, Tabitha, Alice, Jacqueline, Valerie and Samantha), eating, and talking about the future. Ashton and Samara are planning on having a big family. Amelie says she'd like one too. Avril, however, says she doesn't want more than 4. River and Phoenix were both accepted to good colleges, and they're both excited about starting school in the fall.

And to adopt twins (age 1 - 3) from France. No gender preference.
