Nicholas is getting ready to start 1st grade. He is very excited. Is is quite an energetic child! Alexandra and Michelle are in Pre=K 4 right now, and Michelle is discovering her 'artistic' talent, while Alexandra is making lots and lots of friends. Anna Kathryn is a pleasant one year old to have, and is starting speak unintelligble words. Max the Beagle is a vaccuum cleaner who will eat just about anything, and is Colin's best friend.

Luke and I are delighted to announce that we have welcomed daughter number two, Elizabeth Rachel Victoria, into our lives! Ella was born August 8th at 9:34 AM, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces; 19 1/2 inches long. She is of course welcomed home by her big brothers and sisters, who for the most part are delighted about our newest arrival. Nicholas turned six in July and is such a protective brother; he wants to take his baby sister on the first day of first grade for show-and-tell. Jonathan and Samuel will be four in October and are getting ready for preschool; they were hoping to have a little brother, so needless to say, they were a little disappointed to find out they have another sister. Natalie turned a year old in March and loves her baby sister; she seems to think she's like her baby dolls, so we're constantly having to keep an eye on her. And of course, there's Coco the beagle who is such a playful dog; she's great with the kids, and they love to play outside with her. Now, Ella has become the perfect addition to our growing family; we can't imagine our lives without her. Welcome to the world our little princess Elizabeth -- we love you very much!

Luke and I are delighted to announce that we have welcomed daughter number two, Elizabeth Rachel Victoria, into our lives! Ella was born August 8th at 9:34 AM, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces; 19 1/2 inches long. She is of course welcomed home by her big brothers and sisters, who for the most part are delighted about our newest arrival. Nicholas turned six in July and is such a protective brother; he wants to take his baby sister on the first day of first grade for show-and-tell. Jonathan and Samuel will be four in October and are getting ready for preschool; they were hoping to have a little brother, so needless to say, they were a little disappointed to find out they have another sister. Natalie turned a year old in March and loves her baby sister; she seems to think she's like her baby dolls, so we're constantly having to keep an eye on her. And of course, there's Coco the beagle who is such a playful dog; she's great with the kids, and they love to play outside with her. Now, Ella has become the perfect addition to our growing family; we can't imagine our lives without her. Welcome to the world our little princess Elizabeth -- we love you very much!

having so amy little ones around is hectic but we're managing. i'm glad we got sasha, she protects the kids as if they're her own and tis makes me feel very relieved, if any strangers should happen by i know she'd alert us and would let anyone near "her" kids. i have started baking goodies for our produce stand, my Whoopi Pies are the best seller. james is doing very well in school and the other youngsters seem interested in james' school work. he goes to the same elementary school myself, my dad and grandmother went to. its made of field stone, is out in the country and class sizes are around 15 -20 kids. we are getting the twins aquainted with the school and getting them ready for next year. Dustin has taken a shine to bowling, my brother is a pro and has been teaching him.

We are pleased to announce the birth of our first daughter, Elizabeth Rebecca! Beth was welcomed by her four brothers, especially Adam who was desperate for a sister! Bailey seems intrigued by the new arrival and I think he's a bit put out not to be the one we're all fussing over any more!

It's another handsome prince for our growing family! Gabriel Stephen was born April 4, 1993, just 13 months after Christian! To be honest, Shawn and I did not plan on having another baby until Christian was at least two, but now that our son is here, we cannot imagine life without him.
Emily, who turns six in July, loves Gabriel to death, mostly because he's the quietest of our kids so far and doesn't cry when she wants to hold him. The twins, four years old in October, are surprisingly in agreement in their opinions of the baby. Nathan is absolutely ecstatic that he has another brother to teach the ways of the world, and Hannah has happily resigned to the fact that she is the little girl of the family. One-year-old Christian is too young to fully understand the situation, but he seems fascinated by Gabriel. He will crawl up to him and look at either Shawn or me, as if he's asking, "Who is this and when is he leaving?"

Well we suprised to find out we were 5 months pregnant with Logan Caleb Dakota and two months later our baby boy was born. With out execting him we have fallen in love with our big brown-eyed baby boy, with a soft fuzz of brown hair... which was such a big contrast to the rest of our lighter color of hair and eyes. Chris was so shocked by the darker tones of Logan that he even accused me of cheating, which for awhile we weren't sleeping in the same room and weren't talking, untill he finally gave into me telling him that I hadn't. Since then our relationship has become rocky.
The kids are wearly of the baby and don't really know what to think of him and then hearing Daddy and Mommy arguing has frightened them. And The three older ones are blaming Logan for this, well Nessie is still curious but careful of the new baby. And Xander has even come to believe that Logan is an alien from outer space... and has been telling everyone this that he meets or comments of Logan when we're out.
