Because I have not been getting online as much these days it may take awhile to post the rounds.
There will be 10 rounds with the last 4 being multi-generation rounds.
All births and genders have been determined using a 12-sided die.
If you want to play, each round, you must write a letter to your parents telling them about their grandchildren and how they are going. This is because I love hearing how different players chose to tell their story.
I will only accept the first 25 players and as we don't currently have 25 players you may still sign up. 17/25 positions have been filled.

To Mama and Father,
It's Maya here, with some good and bad news. The good news is that the twins were born a couple of weeks ago! Llewelyn and Leonard Abbott. Now for the bad news... I don't know how to say this, so I'll ease into it.
The doctors took Llewelyn and Leonard for their routine check up - you know, the tests and shots - Well, Leonard's tests were fine but Llewelyn's test for Leukemia came up positive. He stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks before the doctor's told us there was nothing else they could do for him. He passed away in my arms at 4:03am.
We are all really upset. The funeral is next week, so I hope you can both come. I need you.

Well, as you know, Steph had been feeling really sick, so we took her to the doctors. After a month of testing, we finally concluded that she has cancer. Aggressive cancer in her brain, which has to be removed soon. All of her wonderful friends are sending her things for her ordeal with hospital, and even when the cancer is out, she will still be going to the hospital every day for radiation treatment. We all are certain that she will be up on her feet in no time.
Rhys is setteling well into year two. He has many friends now, and had them over lots before Steph's cancer. He plays with them every day at school, and is loving being a big brother to so many siblings. He loves Delta (our new horse) and is taking riding lessons at the local stables, where we are keeping her.
Luke used to be the baby of the triplets, but not any more. He's taller then Luke and Steph, and is quite energetic. We have got him playing soccer, swimming and basketball. Because he has so many sports, he has many friends. His best friend is Harrison, a blonde haired, blue eyed, exitable little boy. Luke and Harrison get along like a house on fire, and if you saw them, you would totally agree.
Rudy loves kindy, he has many little friends. But he doesn't quite understand what is going on with Steph at the moment. We've explained it to him, but he doesn't understand, which is quite understandable, considering that he is only four. He likes being the middle sibling, because he has older sisters and brothers, and younger sisters and brothers.
Easton is talking very well, and has light blonde hair and, to our suprise, brown eyes. We have inrolled him for soccer and he can't wait to do it. He is very helpful around the house, and loves washing the dishes with mummy.

Thank you so much for being here with us these past few weeks. I've really appreciated the help and support you have given to Talus, the kids and myself. Mom, without you to help keep the house running, I don't know what I would have done.Dad, thank you for all that you did to keep the kids occupied. No matter how real this all is I can not believe that my little boy is gone. Brian was here and then all of a sudden he was done. We thought his heart was fine after the surgery but I guess our little warrior just didn't have the strengh to keep fighting for his life. Now I worry about the other children and want to get the all tested to make sure they don't have the same heart defect as their little brother did.
I have to go. The kids know that I am not in good spirits but continue to stay close and offer their love and support in their own special ways.

Dear Mum,
I am in a state of utter disbelief and shock and sadness and joy. Elanor Savitri was born yesterday, a gorgeous thriving child whom I already love immensely.
While I was in the middle of the miraculous process of giving birth to Nella, Alaric was hit by a car. He was staying with the neighbors, and he ran into the street chasing a bird. Luckily, the car was not speeding, but A is so small--he is only two, Mum. He is unconcious. The doctors are hopeful he will wake up soon, as are we all, but the situation has been so tragic along with the stress of a new baby and four other children to tend to. The worst part was that they refused to tell me right away; I didnt hear until the day after. There I was, celebrating Elanor's birth, jovial and amazed, and Alaric was in so much pain.
We are praying constantly, and I hope you will too. More than ever I could use your help and support, Mum. My son might die. My son that you have never met. Your grandson. Please reconsider your feelings toward Moon. Pippa, Fallon, Winnie, Yoana, Nell, and especially Alaric need you as a grandmum right now.

Isabel was diagnosed with cancer the other day. The doctors say it will be a miracle if she pulls through. Majella is very upset at the thought of losing her sister, and has become quiet and cold. Isabel herself is very depressed. No seven year old should have to go through what she has. She is very weak, and stays in the hospital bed most of the day. It breaks my heart to say we just may be losing her. This sad letter really dampens the news that I am pregnant again. I can't write more right now. I'm too upset,

Praise the Lord Isabel came through alright. After months of treatment, she is ok. A couple of days ago the doctors told us her cancer just wasn't there anymore. She is still very weak, but is doing better. Her hair is starting to grow back, and she is becoming the fun-loving girl she used to be. We just held her 8th birthday party, and made it the best ever. The day of her party, just as we were setting up I told Lance it was "time to go", I was in labor. Our beautiful new son, Adam Lachlan was born on my daughter's birthday. Now there have been two miracles in our house.

Dear Regan and John,
this letter is bringing the saddest of news to you: Our little angel Jewel didn't survive the surgery. The valvular defect the doctor diagnosed her with at the 9-month-check-up was too big for her little heart - it collapsed within the surgery, every attempt to reanimate was in vain, though we prayed 'til the end. We're all paralized and full of sadness, but somehow we have to try to carry on. Tessy is gorgeous, she takes Sidda to the daycare and the twins to preschool when I'm at work, and she helps Mag with Norah and Andy as much as she can. It's strange, we're all more than heart-broken, but loosing our beloved daughter and sister made the family stick together even more. That must be the work of an angel - our little angel - I guess... this thought comforts me in some way. I wish Mag would feel the same, but she's totaly lost in her pain right now and I have no idea how I could help her bear it. I wished you could be here, but I know that's not possible, so please pray for her and our little angel!

Hope this letter finds you both well. We're writing, this time, with a piece of good news and a piece of bad news. First the good: our beautiful baby girl, Jasmine Lily, has arrived! She's a sweet baby girl who is an absolute joy to have at home.
Along with Jasmine's arrival, though, came Annie's illness. What we thought to be a typical cold was diagnosed as meningitis. Jase and I were both devastated, but knew we had to be there for our little girl, as well as our other children. We were beside her for what seemed to be, every single moment of every single day. Thankfully, after some very scary moments, our brave little girl fought hard and is still with us today. She is making a steady recovery, and the kids are so glad to have her back home.
I cannot tell you how scared I was through it all, or how many times the thought crossed my mind that, perhaps, Annie would be going to be with her sister in heaven, but Jase was so incredible through it all and did his best to assure me that she'd make it through. It was, needless to say, a very rough few weeks, but we got through it.
I hope you'll be able to come soon and visit us. All the kids, especially Annie, really want to see you, and of course, we all want you to meet your new granddaughter. We love and miss you both very much!

Dear Mum,
I thank you so much for your love and prayers for us during this time. I always though child birth was the hardest thing I'd ever have to do as a mother, but that's because I'd never faced the possibility of loosing one of them before. Last week our dear Uilliam was overcome by pneumonia before his father and I ever thought of his cold being serious and we spent three horrible days in the hospital with him but the infection was already raging in his small body and before we knew it he was slipping away. His father and I were both by his side as was Myles though we sent him out at the end. Despite anything the doctors tried our Uilliam died at 2am on Tuesday afternoon. We all mourn and nothing seems to make sense any more. We keep trusting that God must know what He is doing and that Uilliam is certainly in a better place in heaven than any home we could make for him on earth.
Myles seemed to take it harder than all the rest, he's at that tender age and Uilliam had the middle name that Myles had chosen for him: Dash.
While Uilliam is dead my little Ireland continues to grow and thrive, I cannot be the least angry at anyone for Uilliam's death while my baby continues to coo and smile.
Come to us quickly, continue your prayers but do not fear for us. Think of Uilliam in heaven with grandpa and gram enjoying everything that beautiful place has to offer and certainly all three will be singing at the top of their lungs!

Dear Mom and Dad,
We've had a lot going on here recently. The birth of our sixth biological daughter brought us great joy. The kids all decided on her name, so she is Sapphire Jade Vincent. With nine children, it was inevitable that one of them would go to the hospital sooner or later. Irena, one of the quadruplets, has been in the hospital for the past several months. Originally, we took her to the ER because she was really weak and had a fever. The doctors diagnosed her with leukemia. Luckily, it was caught early enough that strong chemotherapy was able to get rid of the disease. Poor Irena has had to endure quite a bit in her short life, but we are happy to say that she is doing a lot better now, and should be able to come home in the next two months. Gina especially has missed her identical sister, but the older kids have been able to keep her mind off of Irena for the most part. We'll come and visit when Irena comes home.

We hope you guys are well. I have some good and bad news to tell you. The good news is Winona Elizabeth was born yesterday afternoon. She is so beautiful mum. Everything went smoothly with my labour this time. The bad news is that Cora has become very sick. She was here with daddy and the other kids visiting last night and suddenly started having a seizure. The doctors are not sure what is causing them but she has since had 2 more. Please pray for our little girl. I really need you right now mum. Can you please get the next bus up here? Just call Stu from the bus station and he will come and get you. I need to go mum, Cora's doctor just walked in. I love you and please come.
