The main character is a 4-5 year old girl with short (chin-length) tan hair. I'm using a picture for the assignment. In the picture, she is wearing a purple jumper and a green shirt with a purple flower headband in her hair. She is wearing tan shoes. She has blue eyes, pale skin and freckles. She is living at her Grandmother's house since her dad has cancer and her mom died when she (the girl) was a baby. The girl's dad and Grandmother die and she is sent to live in an orphanage. She is cold and lonely and makes a quilt out of her parent's and Grandmother's clothing. In the end she is adopted into a family. She is a bit short for her age and is quiet.
