I took a look in Hitchcock's Dictionary of Proper Names occurring in the Bible (http://www.antioch.com.sg/bible/bblnam/) but there's nothing very close to Mekadiah except for Makkedah, a place name which means "worshiping; burning; raised; crookedness" (if you trust Hitchcock).
BTW: you only need to post your messages once for them to appear. If it seems that your replies aren't showing up on the message board it's because you need to click the 'refresh' button on your browser.
