What does my name mean?
I've figured that my name is Hebrew. I know "iah" means either "of the Lord" or "the lord." I've also searched for verbs or words in Hebrew that match or are close to "meka." Only one comes up and that is "meker" or "price, worth, value." I'm not sure if "meka" is a variant of "meker." If anyone has information regarding my name or portions of it please post a response.

Mekadiah,
I took a look in Hitchcock's Dictionary of Proper Names occurring in the Bible (http://www.antioch.com.sg/bible/bblnam/) but there's nothing very close to Mekadiah except for Makkedah, a place name which means "worshiping; burning; raised; crookedness" (if you trust Hitchcock).
BTW: you only need to post your messages once for them to appear. If it seems that your replies aren't showing up on the message board it's because you need to click the 'refresh' button on your browser.

If what you say is accurate, you could interprit your name as meaning "Worthy of the Lord". That's nice. :)
