This would be more than the Dutch pronunciation; the letter "e" would end up being pronounced something like "ay" or "eh" in most European languages other than English. English is actually very unusual in that we pronounce "e" as we do in words like be, he, me, we, female, etc. I'm fairly sure that Cordelia would be not normally be pronounced with the English "ee" vowel in other European languages anymore than Cornelia would.

Thanks!I actually prefer the "e" in both names pronounced in this "ay"/"eh" way but of course it would not make sense for me to being a Brit. I am rarely going to get the pronounciation I want. Shame.Thanks again.
