The Bump says "Zann as a boy's name is of Slavic origin, and the meaning of Zann is 'to defend or help'"
BabyCenter says it's a girl's name, but doesn't provide anything else on it's meaning or origin.
BabyNamesPedia says "The baby boy name Zann is pronounced ZAEN. Zann's origin is Hebrew. Zann is a variant transcription of
Zan (Hebrew)."
Nameberry says it's a boy's name- "Diminutive of
Alexander, Greek 'defending men'", and a variation of
Zan, which is also Greek.
This site says that the name
Zan is Chinese and gender-neutral.
The only person I know named Zann is
German.
So where does this name come from??
Update: nvm they just made it up.
