Oh, Mr. Campbell...
Hey, Mike,We seem to have a recurring problem with people asking for an answer to an enquiry but wanting it sent to their e-mail address (viz., our friend Dark River, below).Altho I'm sure the request is well-meant, Nan's stated reluctance (not for the first time) to post to an e-mail addy is shared by many of the "regulars" here. I know I've been deluged with spam for weeks on end after posting my e-mail address here, and I'm just as hesitant to give it to a stranger unless it's at my behest.Any chance of you adding to the "gender and ethnic background" clause at the top of the posting page a statement such as:"The responses to questions posted on this board are intended for viewing by all board users. Please do not request or expect that a response will be forwarded to your e-mail address. For their own privacy, most responders on this site will only post their answers openly on the board."Thanks, Da.

Brilliant suggestion, Da! Sure beats my wise-sass responses to the addy requesters. :)-- Nanaea

One more...Hi, Mike! Perhaps you could also add something to the "Post a Response" screen -- you know, where you ask for the poster's name, e-mail, and subject? Some people may think they're required to give their e-mail addy, or their posting won't "take".If you could put the word "optional" in parenthenses after the e-mail request, then that might clear things up a bit. :)-- Nanaea
