"Damian"...Another name for satan?

I heard several times from different people that the name Damian is another name for satan, or is demonic. Does anybody know the validity of this?

P.S. -

A friend said there was a movie with someone in it who's name was Damian and he was possessed or something...This may be where they got the idea, if indeed that movie does exist...What do you think?
