According to the Wikipedia page, the name is 鈴木 Suzuki, a family name, and 鎮一 Shin'ichi. 鎮 literally means "temple supervisor," but it has the connotation of governing or being in authority. 一 means "one" or "first." Suzuki Shin'ichi was the founder of the Suzuki music method. As already stated this is just one of many potential ways to write the name Shin'ichi. You have to know which characters a particular individual uses to write his/her name before the meaning can be determined. I'm not seeing Michio in the other link. It's a page titled "Suzuki corporation" and goes on to say that wikipedia doesn't yet have an entry for this name.
