Do you know the religious background of the person you are talking about? Because in this case it sounds like Rita is derived from some form of Margaret.

While most Albanians are Muslim many are also Christian. There is a large Albanian community where I live and the majority are actually Christian(catholic).

The name Rita is a Albanian name its means "Becoming Big" in Albanian "Mu rit" its like when you growing up, its like thats stof .
"Mu rit" "Rit" "Rita"
