ANNEMIE is a German name, a pet form of Annemarie, used mainly in the middle and the south of Germany. In has been rare, was a little bit en vogue after the war until maybe the 70s and has gone out of fashion since.

That's correct, I live in Bavaria (German south) and I know a woman named Annemie. She's in her fifties.

ETA: It's pronounced AHN-nə-mee.
