Belldandy is absolutely adorable and you know it, Lilith. ^_- Anyway, I've seen really really pure purist fans of Oh My Goddess! also write it as Berudandi. Verethanti/Verdandi (I've seen both in Norse mythology, actually) to Berudandi isn't so complicated, and because l and r sound alike and a y is easy to tack on a name, Belldandy was born! At least, I'm pretty sure it went that way. Something like that...Array
