any time you look for info on OMG you find this refference
her name in english is Belldandy, why does it scare you
the name in Japanese is Berudandie as Array stated.
Bcz 'r' does not exist by itself either.

I'm not really sure why it scares me, it's sort of a gut reaction to the name. In fact, the first time I saw it I think I thought something along the lines of "Oh my gods, that's ugly." (No offense to fans of the name--I just thought it was ironic. ^_^) Maybe it's too cutesy for me.
