how long does it take for you to update a new name? just curious, i submitted an email last week about the Cambodian (Khmer) name Chanteau (CHAN-too) a female name, and i haven't seen it listed yet. thanks!
ps- it is the name of a beautiful Cambodian flower, sort of like when English speaking people name their kids Rose or Violet.

I generally update the site once every few months. Of course, not every name that is sent to me gets added. I need to be able to verify the meaning/definition. If you could give me a source for your information on Chanteau, that might help.

My husband actually speaks Cambodian fluently, he lived in an Asian community in Philadelphia for a couple of years. He probably has a ton more names he could submit (since you only have about 5 Khmer names) but Chanteau was his favorite one. What kind of a source do you want (like a Khmer dictionary?) I would be happy to have him provide that. Thanks!
