Does my name mean anything???
Some say it's greek in origin (it's feminine), but as far as I know my aunt was just messing around (and my mother liked it)....I would like to have created my own meaning, based on my life (is that allowed???)...well, here goes..."loved and favoured" or "favored gift". Someone please help.

I agree with Mike: the name sounds Greek, but it is not.
However, we can always engineer an etymology that will suit your fancy ("favored gift"). Here goes:
Donethia could be derived from the Latin *donnum* ("donation, gift") and the Greek *Theos* ("God"). It is therefore quite close in meaning to Dorothy.

Calling Pavlos...
It would seem to be an extremely rare name, occurring (somewhat surprisingly) on only three of the 3000000000 web pages that Google indexes. And two of those three are pages Kabalarian.
Can't find anythig like it among ancient Greek names either. The thia ending could relate to Greek theos god. Our Greek friend Pavlos may be able to offer more help.
