Anyone heard of "Sember"?

A co-worker of mine is having a birthday 3-26 and I'm trying to find her name's meaning as part of a gift.

Sember's mom chose her name because of a family friend, but that friend never knew where it came from.

Any ideas??

There is a surname Sember. It's a variation of the surname Samper which was derived from a French place name - Saint-Pierre.
