Eudoxia and Historical characters with that name
Hello,
I would be interested if someone could help locate the accurate information concerning the name Eudoxia (I spell it as Evdoxia-so
that it will be properly pronounced in English). I know that there was a Saint Eudoxia who died in Egypt along with her mother Athanasia
and that the Eastern Orthodox celebrate the name day on January 31st.
I also know that was an empress in Russia as well as another Empress in Byzantium with the same name. If possible, please locate the correct details and years or centuries of these historical figures and include this information on your website under the name. By the way, This is a very impressive and extensive site-probably the best I have seen--congratulations on the good wotk and THANK YOU for having my name-it is extremely rare and I am always sure to never find it under any lists-this was a wonderful treat for me.
