I love Dexter, though I'm not brave enough to use it. Frank is great, though I'll probably use Franklin and as a mn (to honor my dad). I really like the mn's as well, esp. Henry and Lorcan. Very nice.

Dexter Henry Lorcan- I like Henry and Lorcan (only a little), but Dexter isn't good at all, IMO.
Frank Harlan James- Frank is horrible. It reminds me of a hot dog or an old man. Harlan is bad, IMO, but James is fine.
Terrible names!

I really like James and Lorcan and those two as a combo makes them even better. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I'm not a big fan of Dexter and I prefer Francis to Frank but overall I like them. They're offbeat, but not the typical bizzaro names we've come to expect from celebrities.

Why do celebs always come up with the weirdest names? What happened to ordinary names? Why all this weirdness?

Maybe he--perish the thought--likes those names. Maybe he has older male relatives he wanted to honour. Maybe he likes the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. And maybe those names aren't actually all that weird. I can think of several famous by each of those (save Lorcan). Array

I don't think they're weirdDexter, Lorcan, and Harlan are unusual, but not weird, and the rest of the names are completely normal.

Unusual name = more publicity.
It's as simple as that.

I just read about them before and I told my parents, and they both went "Oh, yuck". I love the name Dexter, but no one I know seems to share my enthusiasm for the name. Henry and James are also great names and I don't mind Frank. Lorcan and Harlan I can live without though!

I don't really like either name, but it's refreshing to see relatively normal baby names used by a celebrity.

Dexter is a breed of cattle, lol!I also think it's very ugly, poor boy! I love Henry and James though, and Harlan could grow on me. Frank is a bit dated imo but not too bad. Lorcan is awful imo.

I LOVE Dexter --- I so wanted to use it for our son but felt we either had to be super stars or just "cool" people. But alas, both husband I are and were total nerds and naming our boy Dexter would probably just fuel the streo-type

Oooh, I love Dexter! James and Lorcan are nice, too. Frank, Harlan, and Henry are all nms, but all together the names are very good. :)------

His real name is Declan Patrick Aloysius btw...I just learned that while looking for more information about the babies. Elvis is just a stage name.

I think he should've stayed w/ Declan!

I like them. The first names are fabulous. I love Harlan and James, and Lorcan's fine. I think Harris would fit better than Henry, but then, I really dislike Henry.Array
