Indiana
IndianaI'm really liking this although its probably just a phase. I only like it on a boy, I think it's a good strong name, not sure if I'd use it as a first name but possibly a middle name.

Oh, no.As a Hoosier, I simply cannot recommend the use of Indiana as a name for a child. It's just not "namey" like Georgia, Carolina, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, Dakota, and Virginia. And I'd be just the type of person to call a boy named Indiana by the nn Hoosier, regardless of what his usual nn was.Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

I have a nephew named Indiana Shane and I love it! When he was little, he went by Indiana, but now he's 12 and his friends call him Indy. It suits him really well.

I like it, but only for a boy too. It makes me think of Indiana Jones, so I see it as a strong masculine name.

I live in Indiana, too, so my first reaction is a "no." But I do kind of like it with the nickname "Indy."

I adore this name [m]I have loved this name for about 5 years now! I adore it on a boy it's in my top 5.I have Indiana Charles picked out.I can't think of anymore it was so hard to find the one i likes for it.I also sort of like it for a girl, but would prefer on a boy, I HAD Indiana Olivia for a girl but took it off.

I think its a really nice name, but I think it's makes an even better middle name than a first name. Hey, I'm starting to like Alabama :-/...a name I did not like at all until a few days ago.

I don't like it as a name at all. But if I had to choose, I'd say it was very feminine because of the Anna ending. The whole idea of it being used for a name is just too "Indiana Jones" for me. (Remember, Indiana wasn't his real name.)
