What's your standpoint on... Masculine nicknames for feminine names? o.0
I know alot of people here don't like boy's names on girls. Names like Aidan etc, that are generally boy's but are slowly drifting to girls. I usually think like this, with a few exceptions. but this morning, I was thinking about nicknames, and a new possibility jumped into my mind...How about... (Dun dun dun)...Girly names with boyish nicknames? For example...
**Joanna "Jo"
**Alexandra "Al" "Alex"
Samantha "Sam"
*Charlotte "Charlie"
*Francesca "Frankie"*= I like the name, but I might not use that nicname.
**= I like the name and I'd use that nickname.
I think they are cute. Joanna can go by Jo or Anna, or just Joanna when she gets older. But Jo seems spunky and cute on a little girl, as a nickname only.So what's y'alls standpoint on feminine names with masculine nicknames?

Julia Keelan"I don't mean to be rude-" he began in a tone that threatened rudeness in every syllable.
"-yet, sadly, accidental rudeness occurs alarmingly often."
