I know alot of people here don't like boy's names on girls. Names like
Aidan etc, that are generally boy's but are slowly drifting to girls. I usually think like this, with a few exceptions. but this morning, I was thinking about nicknames, and a new possibility jumped into my mind...
How about... (Dun dun dun)...
Girly names with boyish nicknames? For example...
**
Joanna "
Jo"
**
Alexandra "
Al" "
Alex"
Samantha "
Sam"
*
Charlotte "
Charlie"
*
Francesca "
Frankie"
*= I like the name, but I might not use that nicname.
**= I like the name and I'd use that nickname.
I think they are cute.
Joanna can go by
Jo or
Anna, or just
Joanna when she gets older. But
Jo seems spunky and cute on a little girl, as a nickname only.
So what's y'alls standpoint on feminine names with masculine nicknames?
