List- global submarine cables names
All of the submarine cables in the world have names, and I was looking through them today. Lots of them have names that consist of numbers, initials and place names, however some have human names. These are the ones with people’s names, what do you think of them? If you had to name a son and a daughter using them, what would you go for?

If I had to chose names for children I'd use Danica and Leif.
Love the name Amity, but Amitie just aint it famAndromeda and Thomas lol one weird, one handsome but boring as heck But, they'd be Tom and Andy and I think that's cute
Celia and Thomas. Can't find mns, unfortunately!
When I saw Melita on the list it reminded me of something, but I couldn't figure out what. I remembered now: the city of Melitopol. Melita is a Greek name so I am pretty sure that Melitopol probably means "City of Melita" hence why they sound similar. Melitopol was kind of close to my home city, according to Yandex maps I could walk there from my hometown in 1 day and 17 hours (assuming that military leaves me alone and I have that much stamina). If I had to name my children some of these names- Girl: Mariana or Melita (even though I associate it with the city)
Boy: Raman Raman looks Belarusian (usage 3 says it is) and where I live he would probably become Roman quickly. And I like the name Roman :) (pronounced rro-mahn).
Wow that is so neat, I had no idea! I'm surprised one of them isn't "Cable McCableface".I would name my kids Jerry Alonso and Georgia Monet.
I learned something today. And the list is not half bad, honestly. If I had to choose submarine cable names for my kids I'd probably go with Florent and Iris.
