Name similar to Imogen?
I'm writing a story and want to name a character Imogen, but that name also belongs to someone I know and isn't the type of person I'd like to name this character after. I've been looking for some replacement names that have a similar-enough vibe to what I want, and this is the list I've come up with:
Indigo
Idalia
Celine
Cosette
Idella
Alison
Amethyst
Eloise
Emilia
Eulalia
Ophelia
Any ideas on which one fits best? Or do you have other names that have a similar feel? There's a couple names that could fit, like Isabelle, that I chose against including on the list for the same reason - I know someone with the name and don't want to name a character after them.

I like Eloise, Ophelia, and Emilia! I would avoid other names that start with "I" to match.
I think Idalia, Celine, Emilia, Alison, and Amethyst would be gorgeous names with Imogen!
I'd suggest:
Gladys
Darla
Vanessa
Hester
Cecily
Janine
Cornelia
Frances
Gwenora
Delsie
Nellie
Millie
Adelaide
Flora
Abigail
Lydia
Cora
Cordelia
Susanna / Susannah
Holly
Sophie
Marybeth
Francesca
Belinda
Arabella

From your list, I think these are closest to the feeling of Imogen:
Celine
Ophelia
Eloise
From other comments:
Isolde
Elowen
Cressida
Sibyl
Orla
Tamsin
Hazel
Phoebe
My own additions (sorry if there are repeats that I missed in the comments!):
Eugenia
Florence or Flora
Maeve
Nola
Isobel (unless it's too close to Isabelle for your liking)
Iona
Rhea
Romilly
Celine
Ophelia

Alice, rather than Alison. Eloise is getting popular, it seems - would that matter? -bel names like Annabel or Rosabel, even Christabel, could work. Rosamond?

Favourites from mentioned:
Idalia>Ophelia>Idella>Eloise>Celine>Eulalia
I think you are going for delicate, pure vibes so...
Agnes, Elodia, Elcida, Isolde/Isolda,
Oriana/Orianna, Ossana/Osanna, Calanthe,
Dulcinea, Leonore, Lucinea, Soleil, Selene
and maybe variant of Isabelle like Lisbeth, Isabel, Izabella, Eilis?
