Gudrun
Gudrun has been on my list for many years. I love its somber, moody elegance and the literary association with Gudrun Brangwen (portrayed by Glenda Jackson in a film adaptation for which she won an Oscar). What do you think?
Some combos:
Gudrun Amy (honoring my mom)
Gudrun Carlotta
Gudrun Celeste/Celestine
Gudrun Cecily/Cecilia
Gudrun Tabitha
Gudrun Eliza
Gudrun Sibylla
Gudrun Alice
Gudrun Viveca
Gudrun Emmeline
Gudrun Claudia
Gudrun Violetta
Gudrun Margery
Gudrun Flavia
Gudrun Letitia/Letizia
Gudrun Olympia/Olimpia
Gudrun Lavinia
Gudrun Emilia/Emily
Gudrun Linnea

I like the Latvian variant Gudruna a little more. I think it is the Latvian variant? I like strong girl names that are powerful, and this is one, sounds like the name of a warrior viking Princess or something.
Gudrun Viveca is so pretty, I also like the contrast of Gudrun Linnea, and Gudrun Olympia is very cute.

Very strong sounding female name. I might use it as a name in a story. To me it conjures up a big, strong Viking woman— not an evil but definitely someone you wouldn’t want to mess with. She could be a ruler of some land in a fantasy novel or the wife of a Viking chieftain. It’s not a name I’d consider using for a child.
This name actually makes me think of The Sopranos, because it was mentioned on an episode and that's the only place I've ever heard it! Gudrun Carmela would be an interesting combo... Or Gudrun Adriana!
I find Gudrun very satisfying, like Gertrude. It does seem very serious, but it also has a lot of light to it. It's definitely an "out there" sort of name; it conjures up a kind of fluffy Neo-Heathen Viking goddess worshipper kind of thing for me, which is cool.
I love Gudrun Carlotta.

Absolutely horrendous, sorry. I honestly thought it was going to be a boy’s name, and even then it would only be slightly better.
I think Gudrun is too harsh and heavy
I greatly prefer DH Lawrence's poems to his prose fiction, and Gudrun sounds too much like Good Run (especially in a Geordie dialect) for me to take it seriously. I love some of your mn choices: Cecily, Tabitha, Alice, Margery (I'd use Marjorie) and Emily.
